More lawsuits could lie ahead stemming from the sexual assault allegations that have rocked the Murphy administration.

Al Alvarez, the campaign staffer Katie Brennan accused of rape, says he was declared guilty before anyone looked at the facts.

Criminal files released last week reveal discrepancies in Brennan’s accusations against Alvarez. Now he says he plans to go to court to seek justice for himself.

Brennan has already filed her own civil lawsuit against Alvarez, the state of New Jersey and the Murphy campaign.
