Twelve trains carrying New Jersey’s politicians, business leaders and journalists departed from Trenton and arrived in Washington D.C. around 3:20 pm today for the state Chamber of Commerce’s 75th annual congressional dinner.

Breaking from tradition, no members of Congress will speak at the dinner. That honor will go solely to Gov. Chris Christie. In years past, both U.S. senators and the dean of the congressional delegation, Rep. Chris Smith, were offered a chance to speak.

NJToday’s David Cruz was onboard the Chamber train as he navigated his way through the packed cars to speak with the state’s movers and shakers.
